A man was arrested Wednesday morning around 1:15 AM after driving towards a deputy in the same lane on Blue Springs Parkway.
The vehicle in the outbound lane was seen coming towards the deputy before it ran off the right side of the road, and then back into the lane towards the deputy. The driver later identified as Stephen Greene of Park Lane in Greeneville, was swerving in and out the lane before pulling into a Market, running over a curve and finally coming to a stop.
Deputies made contact with the suspect, who had slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. Field sobriety tests were refused and he was taken into custody. Found inside the vehicle was a loaded handgun and a rifle.
