According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, gusty westerly winds are expected once again across the area today and through this evening in Greene County.
Sustained winds from 15 to 20 mph with gusts from 25 to 35 mph will be common. Isolated higher gusts up to 45 mph are expected for some, mainly across the east TN mountains. Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny near the 60’s with a possibility of showers and thunderstorms to come beginning Friday.
Rain chance continues with 30% and a possibility of thunderstorms through Monday. Temperatures will rise into the 80’s.
