Accusations continue to mount against the co-owner of the Yurezz Home Center for work paid for but jobs never finished, including in Greeneville.
Yurezz Home Center co-owner Richard Carl Altman was arrested Wednesday in Georgia on charges of Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds.

Investigators there confirm there are multiple open investigations of the man in Georgia and in this area as well. Numerous homeowners have reported having not received the manufactured or modular home they ordered or completion of the work once the home was received.
That includes a woman on the Old Knoxville Highway in Greeneville who contacted Greeneville Police Thursday to report her home not completed as she began to hear of other such incidents involving the business.
Yurezz Home Center is based in Georgia but has also operated locally at 500 East Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville.
The local victim reported that on May 12 she had written a check in the amount of $7000.00 for a down payment for a home from Altman and Yurezz Home Center. The payment was cashed and Yurezz’s contractors started work on June 2 on her property. After completing work up to the amount of $21,500.00 and having received no payment from Altman or Yurezz, worked was halted. The victim reported to police that she and the contractor are both out money owed them at this point while the work remains unfinished.
