A woman was arrested yesterday after speeding on the West Andrew Johnson Highway and Kinsley Highway.
Officers spotted the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was going 86 mph on a 45 mph zone. The driver, Amber Hammonds of Greeneville, was found to have an active warrant in Greene County.
Hammonds was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident.
