While the Town of Greeneville and City Board of Education continue the search for their new leaders, there will be a change at the top in the Greeneville Police Department later this year as well.
Current Police Chief Steve Spano will be retiring at the end of the fiscal year in June.
Spano has been with the department since 1994 and Chief since 2023.
Prior to full time duties in Greeneville, he also spent three years on the Tusculum Police force.
