A Greeneville man was taken into custody Monday on Statutory Rape and incest charges, shortly after a capias was issued for his arrest following a presentment by a Greene County Grand Jury.
Greeneville Police located 35-year-old Edward L. Christman of Sweet Pea Trail at Staples and took him into custody on two charges of statutory rape by an authority figure and two charges of incest. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident. Bond was set at $40,000.
The alleged incidents occurred in August 2025.
