A Greeneville man was arrested Sunday around 2:30 AM after deputies were responding to an active domestic call and he fled into the woods.
Before deputies arrived at the property on West Barton Ridge they were notified that the suspect, 21 year-old Ashton Greenier, ran from the property and jumped over a fence. A location was provided to deputies who located the suspect behind the woods of the YMCA. A K9 was reportedly released to track Greenier and he ended up coming out of the woods with his hands up.
The suspect was placed into custody for warrants relating to vandalism and aggravated domestic assault.
