A Greeneville man was arrested following a traffic stop Monday night.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department was patrolling Tusculum Boulevard and saw a vehicle turn onto the roadway from Justis Drive without headlights around 10:45 PM. The car also did not have a tag.
The driver, Tillman Fox of Valiant Drive, reportedly said “just take me in” when stopped by the officer. He smelled of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Fox admitted he had recently purchased alcohol from the store.
He was taken into custody for DUI, driving on a suspended license, violation of the financial responsibility law, and having an unregistered vehicle.
