The Greeneville Driver Services Center is now open in the new temporary location at the Greene County Annex building.
The Department of Safety announced late last month the current location at 1210 Hal Henard Road would be undergoing facility renovations and improvements.
The alternate location in the former Greene County Clerk location inside the Annex at 204 North Cutler Street opened Monday morning.
During the remodel, Driver Services operations will be conducted at the Annex office, which is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All Driver Services transactions currently offered at the Greeneville Driver Services Center will continue to be available during the relocation, with the exception of Knowledge Tests and Reinstatements.
A date when such improvements are completed and operations can be moved back into the Hal Henard Road location was not listed on a Department of Safety news release.
