The Emergency Department waiting area at Greeneville Community Hospital is undergoing renovation work, which began this morning and will run through Sunday.
A Ballad Health spokesperson says a a new paint job, new flooring and new furniture should make for a better waiting room experience.
The renovation work will not impact patient care, but it will require Emergency Department patients and visitors to enter and wait in a different area during the weekend. Starting today, patients and visitors should enter through the Women’s Imaging entrance. Signage is postedd to guide patients and visitors not familiar with the area.
Patients are also being directed to park in the Women’s Imaging parking lot.
