GREENEVILLE, TN. Greeneville City Schools has named Brianna Holt as its new School Nutrition Supervisor, effective June 1, 2026.
Holt is a familiar face within the district’s School Nutrition program. She has served as the GCS School Nutrition Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper since January 2021, managing the financial and administrative operations of the program. A Greeneville native and Greeneville High School graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tusculum University. She has also held administrative and accounting roles with Greene County Schools and Forward Air.

Steve Starnes, Director of Schools, said, “We are excited to welcome Brianna Holt into this leadership role. Her experience, institutional knowledge, and commitment to our students make her a great fit to lead our School Nutrition program. We are also deeply grateful to Karen Wilhoit for her years of dedicated service and the strong foundation she leaves for Brianna and the team to build upon.”
Holt succeeds Karen Wilhoit, who is retiring after her tenure leading the district’s School Nutrition program.
“I am excited and honored to step into the role of School Nutrition Supervisor for Greeneville City Schools,” Holt said. “After serving as the bookkeeper and administrative assistant for School Nutrition over the past five and a half years, I’ve built meaningful relationships with our cafeteria staff and have seen firsthand the care and dedication they bring to serving our students each day. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing alongside this amazing team and to support our schools, students, and community in this new role.”
In her new role, Holt will be responsible for menu planning, nutritional and regulatory compliance, staffing, and budget management for the district’s school nutrition operations, which serve students at all Greeneville City Schools.
