The Greeneville City School system has been recognized alongside TCAT-Morristown, TCAT-Elizabethton and several other partner school districts and community partners as the recipient of the Tennessee Advanced Career and Technical Education (TNACTE) Organization’s Secondary Program of the Year Award for the Ballad Academy.
This statewide recognition celebrates our innovative Practical Nursing Program, offered in partnership with TCAT and Ballad Health, which gives students the opportunity to begin their nursing education while still in high school- creating a direct pathway into one of the most rewarding and in-demand careers.
Greeneville Career and Technical Academy Principle and CTE Director Dr. Joshua Davis says “this achievement would not be possible for Greeneville City Schools without the collaboration and support of TCAT-Morristown, Ballad Health, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Together, we are expanding access to career and technical education, strengthening our communities, and helping build the next generation of healthcare professionals.”
