Director of City Schools Steve Starnes updated board members on progress being made the Greeneville Career and Technical Academy has preparations are underway for the first school year under the new name.
Interior construction has officially begun as repurposing of the space inside the building is done so to meet the future operational needs of the course offerings.
Meanwhile, work on the new bus parking lot on the Academy property is moving along as well.
