The Greene County Partnership (GCP) is excited to announce the launch of its new Community Volunteer Portal, now live on the Greene County Partnership website (www.greenecountypartnership.com). This new resource serves as a one-stop shop for community members looking to volunteer and for organizations seeking volunteers to support events and initiatives across Greene County.
Jessie Beth Miller, Director of Community Engagement for the Greene County Partnership, who also oversees the GCP Youth Volunteers (formerly known as Youth Council), is pleased to roll out the portal as a centralized tool designed to make community involvement more accessible and impactful.
“The Community Volunteer Portal is about connecting people who want to give back with meaningful opportunities to serve,” said Miller. “Whether you’re an organization in need of helping hands or an individual looking to make a difference, this platform makes it easy to get involved.”
Visitors to the Greene County Partnership homepage will find a dedicated tab that directs them to the volunteer landing page. There, organizations can find clear instructions on how to submit events or opportunities where volunteers are needed, while individuals can sign up to receive information about upcoming volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
The Greene County Partnership encourages community members of all ages to register through the portal and give back in meaningful ways that strengthen Greene County and support local initiatives.
