The Greene County Recovery Court hosted a “Fun Night” on Wednesday at Hardin Park Pool, offering current participants, program graduates, and their families an opportunity to unwind, connect, and enjoy time with the recovery court team. Judge Kenneth Bailey was on hand, grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for attendees.
These kinds of events are a vital part of the program’s mission, providing healthy, substance-free activities that help build recovery capital—the personal and community-based resources that support sustained recovery. By fostering social bonds, emotional support, and positive recreational experiences, gatherings like this one reinforce the importance of connection, wellness, and family involvement on the journey to long-term sobriety.
