A Greene County man is being treated at the Johnson City Medical Center for injuries sustained in an ATV accident early Saturday morning.
A Sheriff’s Department report indicates the accident occurred around 2:00 am when the 2024 Honda Pioneer 4 wheel ATV crashed at 635 Rabbit Gap Road, two miles north of the Horton Highway.
The family identified the operator of the vehicle as Tyler Stroud and they say he was apparently thrown from the side by side which then landed on him.
Stroud, the Sheriff’s Department report indicates, was transported by Highlands Air Rescue to the Medical Center for treatment of suspected major injuries.
