The Greene County Fair earned recognition during the 104th Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention, which was held last month in Murfreesboro.
The fair took first place in the Premium Tabloid category and second in the Fair Brochure category during this year’s Merit Awards.
In addition, fair president Rick Clark received the Thornton Taylor Award for Outstanding Dedication to Fair programs in Tennessee during the convention.
As previously reported, Greene County Fair first vice president Rhonda Humbert was installed as the new president of the Tennessee Association of Fairs at the conclusion of their convention.
The Greene County Fair celebrated its 75th anniversary year in 2025, with nearly 34,000 people attending. In 2024, the fair earned the prestigious Champion of Champions Award as the best fair in the state regardless of size.
