The Greene County Election Commission will select a Chair and Secretary at its next meeting.
Charles Johnson is the current board Chair while Charlena Dean serves as secretary and they would be allowed to serve in those positions again if so elected by the other Commission members.
The board members are appointed for two year terms on the first Monday in April during the odd-numbered calendar years and are required to reorganize after each appointment.
A notice issued yesterday by Greene County Administrator of Elections Justin Reaves states the special meeting will be next Tuesday, April 15th at 4:30 pm at the Election Commission Office on CCU Boulevard.
