With three weeks remaining to qualify for the May 2026 primary election , the list of candidates continues to grow daily.
On Wednesday, another Greene County Commission candidate added his name to the list.
Travis Hoxie of Ebenezer Road in Chuckey will be running in the second commission district representing the Chuckey and Chuckey Doak area.
Hoxie is an SRO (Student Resource Officer) with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and is stationed at North Greene High School.
