Greene County Democratic Party To Elect New Leaders At Reorganization Convention

The Greene County Democratic Party will host a Reorganization Convention to elect new leaders on Saturday, March 29.
The meeting will take place at the Greeneville Parks & Recreation Board Room, 456 Bernard Ave Doors open for registration at 8:15 a.m. The convention will start at 9 a.m., a news release stated.
Local Democrats will elect a chair, vice chair or vice chairs, secretary, treasurer and the Executive Committee members from all areas of the county for a two-year term.
All Democrats who are residents of and who are registered voters of Greene County are urged to attend to discuss the party’s agenda and events for 2025-27. During the convention, the voting delegation will adopt county party bylaws and elect new leadership.
The convention welcomes all Greene County Democrats. Attendees should arrive early to complete credentialing forms and be admitted to the convention prior to the start of the meeting. Doors will close at 9 a.m.
