A Bewley’s Chapel Road couple reported vegetables stolen from their garden.
The victim reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday that he had been in the hospital for a week. When he was released and came home, he and his wife noticed someone had gone into their garden. The suspect allegedly stole several bushels of beans, picked all their okra, and pulled all the ears of corn.
According to the report, a neighbor had witnessed a man on the property loading items into a pickup truck. The suspect is known by the victim.
