The Greene County Board of Education meeting is this afternoon at 4:30 PM at the Greene Technology Center.
The agenda includes approval of several contracts including: an Occupational Therapy Contract with Grace Rehabilitation Center, Inc for 2023-24 at Mosheim, McDonald, and Chuckey Elementary School, as well as Chuckey-Doak Middle and High School. The purpose of the contracts is to provide services to qualified students with disabilities. That includes evaluations, home therapy for homebound students, supervisory visits, and progress reports.
Other items on the agenda include discussion on monthly reports from departments, bids for the Chuckey-Doak Middle School Renovation Project, approval of a large Animal Science Learning Lab at West Greene High School, updating content on several policies including student suicide prevention, and updating procedures like retention guidelines.
The board will meet at the center on 1121 Hal Henard Road.
