Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition Launches “Hope Lives Here” Digital Campaign for Tennessee Day of Hope Greene County, TN – In recognition of Tennessee’s Day of Hope on March 10, 2026, the Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition (GCADC) is launching a community-wide digital campaign titled Hope Lives Here from March 1 through March 10.
Rather than hosting a single in-person event, GCADC is engaging the broader community through social media, short video reflections, live conversations, and stories from local leaders and residents across Greene County. The campaign highlights mental health awareness, prevention, recovery, and the shared strength of community support.
Throughout the campaign, we are asking community members to share brief reflections, answering questions like: “What gives you HOPE?” or “Where do you turn to find HOPE?” and to share someone that gave them HOPE at some point in their life. We want to hear from educators, law enforcement, faith leaders, first responders, elected officials, healthcare professionals, recovery advocates, parents, and community members.
“Hope is not limited to one organization, a single building, or one day,” said Lynn Broyles, Executive Director of GCADC. “It lives in our schools, churches, homes, and neighborhoods. We all find faith and hope in different areas of our lives. This campaign highlights the positive threads that connect us – support, compassion, second chances, and the willingness to show up for one another. Greene County is good at that.”
This year is the 7th annual commemoration of Day of Hope in Tennessee. Governor Bill Lee’s comments on the power of hope in the first year of his administration provided the spark for what has become a statewide effort to spread hope to people who are struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. Day of Hope took off in its first year and was sustained in the years since thanks to the efforts and enthusiasm of partners in communities across the state. The Greene County campaign will end on March 10 at 8:00 PM with a special community video premiere shared on GCADC’s social media platforms.
Community members are invited to participate by submitting short video messages, photos, or written reflections through March 5, 2026. Submissions can be made through an online form available on GCADC’s website and social media pages.
