Gifts For Kids is conducting their distribution for families with two or more children this Friday and Saturday!
Volunteers are needed and should arrive from 8:30-8:45 AM. Call 636-8697 if interested! Start time is 9 AM on both days. Emails have been sent to individuals with a specific time to attend.
Anyone picking up must have their DHS document stating the case is active and have the listed children. If you are contacted to attend during the distribution and you do not show up within an hour of your provided time for pick up, you will be disqualified for next year.
*PLEASE REMEMBER: NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED AT THE DISTRIBUTION*
Parents (or whoever is picking up) should remember these gifts are technically from Santa, so the gifts should be a surprise. Vice President of the Nonprofit Corporation Jancie Painter said they’re helping about 350 kids this year. State Representative David Hawk will also be attending the distribution on Friday to volunteer and help out.
After this November 17th, Gifts for Kids is doing another distribution December 1st and 2nd for families with one child. Wrapping paper is available for families as well as miscellaneous packaging supplies. Visit gfkgreeneville.org for more information on Gifts for Kids and how you can help.
