Greeneville City Schools announced today that the 2026 Greeneville High School graduation ceremony will be held at Hal Henard Elementary School’s gym on Saturday, May 23 beginning 10:00 am. Doors open at 9:00 am.
After closely monitoring the weather forecast for the upcoming weekend and consulting with a representative from the National Weather Service, the decision was made to move the ceremony indoors.
General parking will be available at Hal Henard Elementary School, Greeneville Middle School, and the Ballad Medical Building located across the street from GMS. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the gym entrance for your convenience. GCS employees will be on site to direct traffic and provide assistance as needed. To help ensure safe and efficient access for all guests, please do not park in fire lanes or block any entrances or exits.
Handicap parking will be available for drivers with a valid DMV-issued handicap permit, license plate, or a GHS issued pass. Only handicapped drivers with credentials or a GHS-issued parking permit may park in the designated handicap parking area. All other vehicles must use the general parking areas after drop-off.
Individuals who previously requested wheelchair seating should be dropped off and picked up at the Hal Henard flagpole.
