The Greene County Regional Planning Commission meets this afternoon and will have a discussion on the concept plan for an addition to the White Sands RV Resort.
The resort that was approved in November has a concept plan showing twelve campsites, six proposed cabins, and a new proposed road that’s located adjacent to White Sands Road. Potential changes to the Zoning Resolution concerning uses permitted in the A-1 General Agriculture District will also be discussed. This pertains specifically to RV parks and campgrounds.
There will be an update on the proposed solar regulations, which were provided in November, and a work session is to be scheduled.
The Regional Planning Commission will consider approving a 20-acre subdivision with seven lots, located adjacent to Iron Bridge Road, another subdivision for about 9 acres with two lots near Redgate Road, and several minor subdivisions.
Additionally, the board will consider a request to rezone a parcel near Cherokee Street that would potentially be used as a storage yard. The meeting will be at 1 PM this afternoon at the Greene County Courthouse Annex, located on 204 North Cutler Street.
