The Greene County Partnership along with Frontier Health will soon unveil Greeneville’s latest artistic addition to town, a vibrant mural at Frontier Health’s Church Street Pavilion located at 616 East Church Street.
An unveiling ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 17th at 10:30AM.
With the help of the Greene County Partnership, funding for the Frontier Health mural project was secured through the Tennessee Arts Commission’s Arts Build Communities (ABC) grant program. This grant aims to support arts initiatives that enhance access to artistic experiences and contribute to community well-being through artistic endeavors.
The mural will become a part of the Greene County Partnership’s expanding mural trail, which showcases more than 15 murals situated in and around Downtown Greeneville. Aly Collins, the General Manager of the Greene County Partnership, expressed delight in collaborating with Frontier Health and the artist, Sam Culbertson, to realize this mural, hoping it brings joy to all who pass by it daily, whether driving or walking. Culbertson is also the artist of the Welcome to Greeneville mural that is located in the parking lot of the Greene County Partnership.
The public is invited to attend the reveal which will take place at 10:30AM on Church Street, situated between Bernard Avenue and Cherry Street. Parking is available at the storage facility’s lot across from the mural, accessible via Cherry Street. Additional parking can be found at Frontier Health’s entrance on Bernard Avenue. The public is also asked to be aware of the street closures on Church Street while the ceremony is taking place.
