Police responded to the report of a robbery just after midnight this morning, at Luther Street.
According to the report, officers spoke to the victims, who were listed as living in Kingsport, and said they went to the parking lot of The Sanctuary Church in order to sell a watch to the buyer they had met over FaceBook Marketplace.
A male walked over from Greeneville Terrace Apartments and while the group was discussing the watch, the male allegedly pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the victims. The male took the watch, valued at $500, and returned toward the apartments.
Police continued their investigation using a K9 officer, and spoke to several residents, showing them a picture of the suspect. The male was identified and named, and his residence located, but he was not present. Officers stated in the report they have the evidence they need and will be filing two warrants for Aggravated Robbery on the suspect.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Odyssey due to observing a person with an outstanding Violation of Probation warrant occupying the van.
Once the vehicle was stopped, officers opened the passenger door where Ethan Stetson, of Whitehouse Road, was sitting and instructing him to step out of the van. Stetson reportedly refused and was removed from the vehicle and placed on the ground.
Stetson refused instructions to put his hands behind his back and continued to resist by tensing and pulling away his arms.
A search of his person yielded a large, uncounted amount of cash, in multiple denominations. A search of a bag in the van yielded: 2 glasses pipes, 3 roxy pills, 2.7 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, a digital scale and approximately 51 clear baggies.
Stetson is being charged with: Resisting Arrest, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Sch 2, and Manufacture/Sell/Delivery of Methamphetamine.
