Free well water test kits are now available for Greene County residents. They can be picked up weekdays from 8 AM until 4:30 PM at the Greene County Health Department on West Church Street.
For those with well water, it is important to inspect, flush, disinfect, and test before using or consuming the water. No level of coliform bacteria is considered safe for drinking water
Anyone picking up test kits from the Greene County Health Department should enter the building at the main entrance and check in at the service desk.
