More traffic obviously means more drivers and no doubt more teen drivers. Lennie Lawson at Gateway Ford Nissan has announced a free two-hour class designed for new drivers, soon-to-be-drivers and high school students in the community.
This hands-on class will cover several important topics that every young driver should know before getting behind the wheel.
Topics will include:
1. Car & Truck Operation Fundamentals-Hands-on demonstrations so students
understand how vehicles really work.
2. Basic Vehicle Maintenance-Fluids, filters, brakes, tires, and the simple checks every driver should know.
3. How to Avoid the Most Common Accidents-Practical tips that can prevent many everyday crashes.
4. Driving Etiquette & Avoiding Road Rage-How to stay calm, courteous, and safe on today’s busy roads.
5. Roadside Emergencies-What to do if you break down or find yourself in a difficult situation.
Dinner will be provided for all attendees, and each student will receive a special gift created just for this event.
60 reservations will be accepted for session one.
