Four people were arrested following a traffic stop on Thursday around 8:30 PM.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department saw a vehicle leave a gas station at East Church Street and West Bernard Avenue without a tag light. The officer was unable to read the license plate and conducted a traffic stop at Chery Street and Chestnut Street.
The driver, Alisha Widener of Greeneville, did not have a driver license. A passenger in the vehicle, Darrell Berry of Greeneville, had an active violation of probation warrant.
A K-9 officer altered on the vehicle. Multple needles, baggies with drug residue, scales with residue, and multiple pipes were located throughout the Jeep.
Widener and passengers Ryan Phillips of Greeneville and Marcus Laws of Mosheim were taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Berry was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant.
Animal control responded to the scene and took possession of two dogs in the vehicle.
