Golden Ticket Cinemas has announced plans to reopen the former Towne Crossing 8 theater, bringing movies back to the community this month.
An exact date for the reopening was not provided in a press release. The theater, which previously closed on April 6th, is currently undergoing a transition as Golden Ticket Cinemas prepares the location for reopening.
As part of the reopening, the theater will introduce self-serve popcorn, allowing guests to enjoy unlimited refills for the day of purchase as well as a full array of popcorn seasonings.
Guests can also expect to have a wide array of snacks including wings, pizza, hot dogs, sliders, hot pretzel bites, cheese curds, fried pickles and more.
Golden Ticket will also have some money-saving deals such as the annual bucket which can be refilled throughout all of 2026 for $5.75 and Discount Tuesdays where all tickets start at $5.75.
The theatre will open just in time to kickstart the summer break with Golden Ticket’s annual Summer Kids Series in which families, daycares and organizations can enjoy $1 tickets and $4 popcorn and drink combos. The series will run for 10 weeks during the summer with showtimes starting at 10 am Sunday-Wednesday.
