A former Mosheim Auxiliary Police Officer has been indicted by a Greene County Grand Jury on charges related to what was described as a road rage incident last February on I-81 in which he is alleged of brandishing a gun.
27 year old Aaron L. Foster of Springvale Road in Morristown was indicted last week on two counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Reckless Endangerment
The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a video of the February 3rd incident which appeared to show a man give an obscene gesture towards another vehicle. As the car leaves the interstate at Exit 23, authorities believe the suspect brandished the gun and fired a shot.
The THP says that Foster was identified as the individual seen in photographs and video of the incident.
The Mosheim Police Department said at the time of the incident Foster was already a former officer with the department, having resigned January 14th.
