Former Greene County Registrar of Deeds, Carolyn Morrell, passed away on Friday.
Morrell served as Registrar for four years, from 1994 through 1998, filling the unexpired term of her husband Carroll “Pig” Morrell, who had won re-election to that office that year. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
There will be no formal visitation. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Food Bank or to the Greene County Firewood Ministry.
