Former ETSU President Dr. Paul Stanton Jr. has passed away.
Stanton, the school’s eighth president served from 1997 through 2012. He was also ETSU’s Dean of the College of Medicine from 1987 to 1997.
Stanton, who had been in ailing health, died Thursday at the age of 81.
