According to the National Weather Service, a Flood Watch is in effect for Greene County.
Rain may be moderate to heavy at times today and tonight, mainly in areas south of I-40. Isolated flooding is possible due to saturated soils and high river levels after multiple days of rain.
Thunderstorms are possible this evening. While the probability of severe storms is low, isolated damaging wind gusts and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out in the southern portions of the Tennessee Valley.
