Units from the Mosheim, Town of Mosheim, United, and Midway Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported possible structure fire in the eleven hundred block of Goodman Loop Monday around 7:20 pm.
According to a Greene County Sheriff’s Department report, upon arrival, it was determined there was no fire, only smoke due to a chimney issue with the wood stove at the Edward and Deborah Thompson residence. There was not reported damage or injuries.
At the time of the 9-1-1 dispatch to the fire call, Mosheim and Midway volunteer firefighters were just completing a walk through at the Walmart Distribution Center in order to establish new knowledge of the changes that has been done recently at that facility.
