What was initially reported as a structure fire was actually the remains of a what the report referred to as a trailer which had partially burned in a previous fire.
Units from the Tusculum, Newmansville and Mosheim Volunteer Fire Departments responded shortly after 2:00 pm Saturday to the call near the Whitehouse Road/Isley Lane intersection.
Property owner Duane Bales reported to the Sheriff’s Department he was trying to clean up some of the property and a fire he started got out of control. The fire was contained without spreading or resulting in further damage.
