A man evading Greene County Sheriff’s Monday during an attempted traffic stop wrecked twice in his vehicle, then fled on foot, and struck a K9 before finally getting detained.
A deputy was patrolling the area near Middle Creak Road when he saw a vehicle with a registration that came back to suspect Junior Davis. Davis reportedly was known to have a criminal violation of probation. During an attempted traffic stop Davis continued to drive away from the deputy and allegedly was not complying with demands.
According to the report he continued on multiple roads before wrecking his vehicle near Seaton Road; he stated deputies were harassing him and refused to comply. Davis crashed again near Chestnut Ridge Road and then fled on foot.
K9 Narco was released for assistance and apprehended Davis in a field; during the process Davis struck the K9 in the head multiple times. With the help from Tusculum police the suspect was finally caught and arrested.
The report states he was charged with felony evading, Joker’s Law for striking K9 Narco, along with multiple traffic violations.
