As part of Super Bowl weekend, the Tennessee Highway Safety Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol remind citizens that “Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk.”
During the 2025 Super Bowl weekend, there were 84 DUI crashes statewide which resulted in four fatalities. Those numbers were nearly identical to the 2024 Super Bowl weekend in the state, when there were 96 crashes and four deaths.
THP Colonel Matt Perry said that troopers will be out in full force to remove drunk drivers from the roadways this weekend. Anyone who witnesses someone drinking and driving should call *THP which is *847 to notify dispatch.
