A Fall Branch man is facing charges following a multi-county chase that began late Sunday night in Washington County and ended in Greene County.
Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance in progress on Highway 93. The victims reported they were being followed by 39-year-old Timothy Neeley, who was in another vehicle and trying to cause them to wreck. Deputies pursued Neeley in a chase that looped through Sullivan and Greene Counties. Neeley eventually wrecked in Greene County in a creek along Ryan Road. He reportedly attempted to flee the scene and deputies released K9 Rico to search the area. Rico extricated Neeley from an overgrown embankment near the creek.
Deputies were able to subdue Neeley and placed him under arrest. Neeley was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center by Greeneville-Greene County EMS for evaluation and treatment of any injuries received during his apprehension.
Neeley was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Tuesday on two counts of aggravated domestic assault, two counts of aggravated assault, simple domestic assault, driving on a suspended license, evading arrest, and reckless driving.
