Greeneville police are investigating the discovery of a counterfeit $10 bill that was turned in as part of a bank deposit.
An employee of the Andrew Johnson Bank branch on the 11-E bypass called police Friday afternoon to report that the fake $10 bill had been part of the deposit of a local restaurant.
The bill had no serial number on it, and it was not know which patron had used it on Thursday. The bill has been recovered and placed into evidence at the Greeneville Police Department.
