Worlds Largest \”Thin Blue Line\” Law Enforcement Flag

In a moment that will resonate with compassion and gratitude, the Upstate community will
gather on Friday, August 18, 11:30am., to unfurl the world’s largest law enforcement flag
measuring an impressive 60 feet by 100 feet. This event will honor our dedicated first
responders and, in a special way, commemorate the life and sacrifice of our beloved fallen
officer, Mathew Logan Hare. The unfurling will take place at Upstate Granite Solutions located
at 2840 New Easley Highway, Greenville, SC.
Upstate Granite Solutions extends a warm invitation to all first responders, the community, and
the media to join this expression of unity and appreciation. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m.
with community leaders sharing remarks highlighting the dedication and compassion of our
emergency personnel with special attention to Officer Hare. Then all in attendance will be
invited to help unfurl and raise the “Thin Blue Line” Law Enforcement Flag for the first time as a
continuing symbol of remembrance, honor, and gratitude to all who put their lives on the line to
keep the community safe.
