Motorists traveling northbound on Alcoa Highway (SR 115/US 129) in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have an effect on traffic.
On Wednesday, April 19, the Alcoa Highway (SR 115/US 129) northbound exit ramp to John Sevier Highway (SR 168) will be shifted. The new exit for John Sevier Highway (SR 168) will be moved further south and follow a new alignment to allow for construction of the John Sevier Highway (SR 168) intersection.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution as workers will be present.
