The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will be in Greeneville February 24, 2025, at the Food City located at 2755 East Andrew Johnson Highway from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Those who qualify for assistance can receive a payment that is sent directly to the utility company and is credited to their bills. LIHEAP prioritizes assisting the low-income, energy burdened, disabled, elderly, homes with young children under six, veterans, and large households. The sign up opportunities for the benefit ends September 30, 2025.
