Harris Memorial Free Will Baptist Church on 4110 Sunnydale Road in Greeneville, have special events going on Easter Weekend.
On Saturday, April 8, 2023, we have a Kid Run at Camp Creek School track at 4:30 PM then an official 5K run and walk at 5:30. We also would love for anyone to run or walk. We will have food trucks there on the day of the race. Hix BBQ and Catering Bite Me Bistro-Food Truck-Greeneville TN. The proceeds from the benefit race this year are Dawn and David Smith of Lesser Ministries. They have worked in Mexico, Brazil, and Tanzania. Beginning in 2023, they plan to walk with missionaries whose main work is in Tanzania, Africa drilling water wells, and helping street children get an education that otherwise would not have an opportunity. With this comes the opportunity to be ministering in different churches and encouraging pastors and leaders on a regular basis.
On Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, Harris Memorial is hosting a Community Easter Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM. In addition to an Easter message, we will have special speakers, Dawn and David Smith of Lesser Ministries, Missionaries to Africa and Tanzania. The Smiths will be sharing about their ministry and how we can support them.
Immediately following the service is a breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Anyone who desires to bring a dish to share may do so. All are welcome to join us!
