The Greene County Heritage Trust will host an America 250 celebration on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 5:30 PM on the steps of the Greene County Courthouse in downtown Greeneville. The patriotic program will feature a community reading of the Declaration of Independence, music, historical presentations, and other ceremonies honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary. Complimentary apple pie will be available for the first 250 attendees, with food also available for purchase.
