Three Greene County children are safe this morning, after being the subjects of an Endangered Child Alert late last night and early today.
The TBI issued the alert seeking the public’s assistance in locating 7-year-old Cora Hurley, 5-year-old Elijah Hurley, and 3-year-old Gabriel Buchanan, who were missing from Greene County. AT the time the children were believed to be with Angel Hurley and Shirley Smith, who are wanted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for Custodial Interference.
Earlier this morning, TBI and Detective Lt. Michelle Holt with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department reported all three children had been located and were safe.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Hurley is in custody. No other details about the incident or the adults involved were immediately available.
