Eight more persons were sworn into office during ceremonies Friday afternoon at the Greene County Courthouse.
SIX COMMISSIONERS
Six Greene County Commissioners, including first time 4th district Commissioner E.J. Swatsell, were administered their oaths of office. Before being sworn in, Swatsell asked to pray, surrounded by his wife Kasey and parents Missy and Kevin Swatsell.
Also sworn in were incumbents Kathy Crawford from the first district, Jan Kiker and Robin Quillen from the third, Gary Shelton from the fifth and Paul Burkey of the seventh.
CIRCUIT COURT CLERK
Circuit Court Clerk Whitney Collins, and Deputy Clerk Sydney Braiden King were also sworn in.
JUDGE KEN BAILEY, JR.
Judge Ken Bailey, Jr. administered all eight oaths of office on Friday.
