Telling family, friends and onlookers “It’s been a great ride”, Edward Patterson was recognized during the City Council meeting Tuesday.
On his 100th birthday, he and family members were in attendance at the meeting as he was presented a Joint Proclamation from the city and county in recognition of becoming a Greene County member of The Century Club of East Tennessee.
